Lingling, a slave on the island of slaves, was trapped in a suffocating bathtub situation. She had no way to escape from this terrible predicament.
She fought desperately with all her might and clawed at the water to free herself. But it seemed like fate was against her as she found herself sinking deeper into the depths of the bath.
As she struggled, she noticed something floating in the water beside her – a small air bubble. It looked so close but yet so far away. Lingling knew that if she could just reach out and grab it, she might have a chance to survive.
With renewed vigor, she extended her hand towards the elusive bubble. Just as it seemed about to slip through her grasp, she managed to touch it. It felt like a breath of fresh air in this suffocating environment.
As she held onto that single bubble, hope began to flicker inside her. She realized that there was always a way out, even when things looked darkest.
